Roof soffit

At the Roof Covering Center at Metalmix, we offer to our customers a roof soffit, simply called a soffit. Our current offer includes mainly steel soffit from Transtal Smęgorzów: https://transtal.pl/produkt/trapez-t8/, other soffits are available on request. 

We also recommend the products from company BlachProfil2 in Winchester color.

As for the PVC soffit, on customer's special request, we can provide the products of Cellfast Group, like a wood-like soffit, imitating the natural wood look, which is exceptionally appreciated by customers, and fits perfectly to the color pallet of BRYZA gutter systems: https://www.rynnybryza.pl/podsufitka-pvc. We also recommend products from Galeco.

Our offer includes also further accessories necessary for installing a roof soffit, such as:

• J-type batten
• covers
• screws: farmer and torx

A roof soffit is not an essential element of building a house, but it is worth installing it, because apart from its aesthetic and visual values, it will certainly bring many practical benefits.

Benefits of installing a roof soffit:

• Thanks to its use, some structural elements, like roof truss, are covered, and the material from which it is made, together with the appropriate color scheme, will create an effective finish.
• The soffit protects the building from excessive heat loss and also serves a ventilation function. Battens with small holes mounted together with soffit allow a minimal air flow, ensuring a constant air circulation. This prevents the thermal layer from getting damp.
• The soffit protects the rafters and roof truss from atmospheric factors such as rain or snow, but also from fungus and mildew. Without the installation of a roof soffit, they will require a regular maintenance.
• The roof structure is often inhabited by birds and insects that live in cracks and holes, so a properly installed soffit will protect the building from unwanted guests and will help to keep the interior clean.
• The roof soffit is also a place where can be installed additional lighting, so the installation of the electrical system  should be planned at the beginning.
